Who We AreThe Tennessee Health Science Library Association (THeSLA) was founded in 1977 to promote education and communication among those responsible for health science libraries in Tennessee. Membership is open, with board approval, to individuals engaged in or concerned with health science libraries. Dues are $20 annually.
THeSLA is an Allied Organization of Tennessee Library Association (TLA) and the Tennessee Hospital Association (THA). THeSLA members may also join THA through personal membership. Our PurposeMembership in THeSLA provides the opportunity to acquire skills and knowledge needed for the development, maintenance, and growth of health sciences libraries. It facilitates contact with others in the field and benefits and promotes the exchange of information. Resource sharing is a significant element of THeSLA's program.
